Chandra Rochell Keys-Williams' Obituary
Chandra Rochell Keys-Williams, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. At the time of passing, she was 54 years old.
Chandra was born in Waterloo, Iowa on October 14, 1970 to Rev. Ted Keys and Ruby Moore. She was baptized by her dad, Pastor Keys, at Community Southern Baptist Church. She was a member of the choir and the kitchen committee, and she was very active in missions. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and sense of humor. Above all, she cherished her role as a mother to Darius Redd, Jhasmin Anderson, and Anthony Keeling.
Chandra leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Rev. Ted and Sarah Keys and Ruby Moore; three children, Darius Redd, Jhasmin Anderson, and Anthony Keeling; four grandchildren; three brothers, Terry (Shirley) Keys of St. Louis, Missouri, Teddy (Joy) Keys of Petaluma, California, and Brian Keys (Linda Barnes) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two sisters, Coretha Montouth and Rhonda (Norman) Gant, both of Waterloo; one aunt, Velma Jean Montgomery; one uncle, Darrell (Shirley) Redding; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rufus (Velma) Hill, Johnny (Willie Lee) Fisher, and John (Speed Ball) (Fanny) Keys; two uncles, Curtis Lee Redding and Larry Dean Redding; uncle and aunt, Bishop and Gloria Hence; two nephews, Norman Gant Jr. and Xavier Ambric Gordon; and one niece, DaOnna Marie Gordon.
Rest in peace, dear Chandra. You will be forever in our hearts.
