Eugene Fisher's Obituary
A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled.
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
And after a lonely heartache,
And many a silent tear,
We’ll always have a beautiful memory
Of one we loved so dear.
Eugene was born March 4, 1954 in Durant, Mississippi, the third son of Allen and Rose Holmes Fisher. Eugene lived most of his life in Waterloo, Iowa. He grew up with his brothers, Roger and Morgan Fisher. He graduated from River Hills School in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Eugene had a special relationship with Phylis Johnson and had a great relationship with Eric Elias, and Alisha, who were very special to him.
He had four nephews and one niece. He loved family and all his cousins, He was able to celebrate his last birthday at Pizza Ranch buffet on the sixth of March.
Eugene was preceded in death by his mother, father, and one brother.
He leaves to grieve his uncles, aunts, and a ton of cousins and friends.
