John Randolph Clark's Obituary
John Randolph Clark was born on September 19, 1958 at Providence St. Mel in Chicago. Through the union of Helen Clark and Charles Randolph Clark, John was born the only baby boy of four children. GOD called John home to glory on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 7:46 pm.
John grew up on the south side of Chicago, in Englewood on 73rd Place off of Racine. He attended Altgeld and Stagg Elementary. John was grounded by his beliefs of God, Faith, Family, enjoyed life in many ways, through his children and grandchildren, family, companionships, and friends. John enjoyed his personal time which usually involved drinking a cold beer, cooking, and feeding his community, talking on his CB radio, mainly talking (XXXX) to anyone who will entertain the conversation. (John loved to talk “know what I’m saying”).
John was known to be a man who LOVED his entire family, and made sure he brought Love, Life, and Laughter to every occasion. John was joined in holy matrimony to Mary D. Cooper-Clark. John and Mary remained the best of friends through the hills, mountains, and valleys. Mary made her transition February 27, 2019. John Clark gave his life to Christ later in life, but was baptized at Greater First Church in East Chicago, Indiana. John moved his family to Waterloo, Iowa in hopes of building a better life, which has allowed his family to grow and flourish, where he remained until his transition. John has lived various chapters in his life where he has created loving memories through companionship with Cheryl Davidson and closed his chapter with the love and support of Rose Ivory.
John leaves to cherish his children: Shenisha Cooper, Riverdale, Illinois; Helen V. Clark (Kenyatta), Waterloo, Iowa; Shauntae Clark (Darnita), Chicago, Illinois; Dominique A.
