Minnie loved to sing! And back in the mid '80's through 1992, Minnie was a devoted tenor/contralto in a gospel group that the Lord layed on my heart to form called, "Rejoice Gospel Sounds." She sang faithfully and joyfully along side the late Sister Bessy, Sister Ann, the late Sister Regina Prator and Sister Joyce! Sister Minnie was our eldest member and yet the youngest at heart. Sister Minnie was faithful attending rehearsals with the gospel group, and we had many fun . moments at coffee and lunches at Happy Chef! She was faithful & a cheerful giver of her time talent and efforts. A women of faith loaded with grace.
To the family, I grieve her departure with you, for surely you've lost a jewel! Now, remember her laughter, her endurance, her strength and determination! Remember her "LOVE for you all!" Father, comfort your children and strengthen them, and give them peace and hope in Jesus' name I pray, amen.
