Rosie L. McGee's Obituary
Rosie L. McGee, 98, of Waterloo, Iowa died Saturday, May 3, 2025 of natural causes.
She was born December 22, 1926 in West, Mississippi. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Riley. She attended college to become an elementary school teacher.
Born in Mississippi, Rosie lived many years in Chicago, Illinois before relocating to Waterloo to be with her nephew, Willie Prymer Sr., who was more like a son whom she helped to raise.
Rosie loved the Lord, and she enjoyed going to church and reading her Bible. She played the piano and taught Sunday School and loved a good sweet potato pie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Alice Prymer and Mildred Robinson.
She is survived by her nephew, Willie Prymer Sr. and numerous great-nephews and nieces.
