Trevell LayQuan Fisher's Obituary
Trevell LayQuan Fisher, 30, was born June 16, 1995, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Trevor Fisher and Shantoya Day. Trevell graduated from West High School, class of 2013. He continued his education shortly after high school at Hawkeye Community College. He was employed at McDonald’s and Radio Shack while attending high school. After he graduated, he was employed at Waterloo Tent and Tarp, Pinnacle Auto, Murry McMurray Hatchery, and Perin Machining Co. Lastly, the one job title that he held was “Minister of Music,” which was the one that truly showcased his God-given talents.
Trevell accepted Christ at a young age. He sang about his love for Jesus anytime and anywhere. Trevell was truly an angel on earth; every person he met would instantly feel his amazing spirit. Trevell’s voice was simply amazing. He enjoyed being outdoors, roller coasters, spending time with friends and family, scary movies, traveling, especially a good road trip, and video games.
Trevell was preceded in death by: Grandmother Robbie Fisher, Grandfather Larry Scott, Uncle Quentin Fisher, and Cousin Emari Bennett.
Trevell leaves behind his mother, Shantoya (Leon) Day/Jackson and his father, Trevor (Tamika) Fisher, all of Waterloo. One brother, Sharmez Fisher of Waterloo; one sister, Layona Jackson of Kansas City, Missouri; Grandmother Minnie Bennett of Waterloo, Toni Acoff of Merrillville, Indiana; Grandfather Earnest Bennett, and Lesley Fisher both of Waterloo, Great Grandmother Doris Day of Waterloo, and very special friends Brittany Vance, Valda Horton, Gabriel Evans, Kaia Jones, and Timia Gilliam, and a hosts of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
